Safe
Harbor Ministries
Safe Harbor is a male quartet and has been in the
ministry for 14 years. They have driven coast to coast from Florida
to Canada, California to the Carolina's. The group stands on the
laws of God. They believe that his blood has covered their sins.
They know that they have been forgiven, and by his grace they are
allowed to spread his message of salvation through music to a lost
and dieing world. Safe Harbor consists of four young men, who in
fact have been titled by fans and music legends as some of the most
energetic, and talented musicians of all time. They bring humor,
emotion, and spirituality into every concert. Not to mention
four-part harmony at it's best! In 2004 gospel music fans voted them
The Singing News Horizon Award at the National Quartet Convention.
The members of this extraordinary group are Chris Cooper, Johnny
Beacham, Kirk Chapman and Stephen Cooper. |
CHRIS COOPER
Chris is one of the Owner's of Safe Harbor. Operating the group's
office, managing its business, and emceeing the concerts keep him
busy. He has been singing professionally for over 7 years, and is
known by many as one of the best full voice tenor singers in his
generation. Touring with groups such as N'Harmony, Won By One, and
Legacy Five, he has definitely gained his share of respect within
the Southern Gospel Industry. He resides in Easley, South Carolina
with his wife Kristin and daughter Kylie |
JOHNNY BEACHAM
Johnny Beacham is co-owner and founding member of Safe Harbor.
He sings the lead and has been doing so for 14 years. Johnny was
born and raised in Pelzer, South Carolina, which is also the home
for Safe Harbor Ministries. He still resides there with his wife of
19 years, Betty and daughter Chloe. He has been singing with
quartets for over 18 years and comes from a great heritage of
musicians, including his grandfather Newt Kelly. Newt wrote hundreds
of songs that have been recorded by popular groups for many years.
Along with assisting Chris with the business of the ministry, Johnny
also maintains the bus to assure the guys are safe to travel week
after week.
You can always know that Johnny will greet you with a smile where
ever he may be. T S S HA |
